This policy covers Aligned Society, operated by Scaling Adventures LLC: all of our websites, including alignedsociety.co, and all of our products and services, including the Unhooked course, memberships and subscriptions, calls, and our apps.
Contact details you give us: name, email address, and anything you type into our forms (signup, checkout, booking, coaching or careers applications).
Account and product data: your account, sign-in details, course progress and settings you save in our products.
Purchase data: Stripe processes your payment. We receive confirmation (email, amount, date) but never your full card number.
Technical data: pages visited, UTM parameters, referrer, device and browser info, collected via cookies, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity (session recordings with form inputs masked).
Advertising measurement: when you sign up or buy, our server also reports that event to Meta through its Conversions API, with your email, name and phone hashed (SHA-256) plus your IP address, browser user agent and Meta cookie ids, so Meta can match it to the ad you clicked. Meta receives no card data.
To deliver your purchase and account access; to send transactional emails (receipts, access links); to send cart-abandonment reminders when you start signup but don’t finish checkout; to improve the site; to run advertising measurement; and to comply with the law. If you opt in to marketing, we’ll send product updates — unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
If you enter a valid email on our signup form — including clicking “Continue” or typing your email without completing checkout — we save it so we can email you your checkout link or a reminder. This is based on our legitimate interest in completing a transaction you started.
Stripe (payments), GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (CRM and emails), Cloudflare (hosting), and analytics/ads providers (Google, Meta, Microsoft) when their tags are enabled. We never sell your personal information.
We use strictly-necessary cookies (theme preference, load balancing) and, where enabled, analytics/advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; parts of checkout may then not work.
Leads and purchase records are kept as long as needed for the purposes above (typically for the life of the customer relationship plus legal retention), then deleted or anonymized.
Depending on your location (including GDPR/UK and US state laws such as CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, or object to/restrict processing. Email support@alignedsociety.co and we’ll respond within 30 days. Californians: we do not sell personal information for money. We do share limited data (cookie ids, pages visited and hashed contact details) with Meta and Google for advertising measurement, which the CCPA/CPRA may treat as “sharing.” To opt out, email us with the subject “Do not share,” or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored in Cloudflare D1 with access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry practice to protect it.
This site is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
